Do we really only pay for messages that we send?
Yes. There are no application purchase, monthly rental or per-user charges for the TextCampaign service. You just pay for the messages that you send.
How do we pay for the messages that we’ve sent?
As part of the registration process you elect how to pay. Your choices are: by direct debit (our favourite, for which you receive a discount!) or by account payment such as BACS, cheque or credit card. At the end of each month we’ll send you an invoice for the previous month’s usage, which we ask you to pay within 14 days.
Do I need to be technical to use the service?
Absolutely not. The online user interface has been designed to be simple and easy to use.
Are there online reports to keep an eye on how the service is being used?
Yes there are. Within your account you can review the usage of the service and the success of each campaign that you have initiated.
How many recipients can I have within my campaign?
There is no limit. You can send hundreds or hundreds of thousands of messages from within TextCampaign. You decide how many messages to send.
Can I schedule when the messages are sent?
Yes you can. The scheduler function within TextCampaign enables you to set a date and time for the campaign to be sent.
How long do the messages take to arrive with the recipients?
It depends on how many messages you are sending. Messages can be delivered in a few seconds. If you have tens or hundreds of thousands of messages to be delivered, messages can take up to a few minutes to be received. TextCampaign is designed for high volume marketing campaigns where the messages must be swiftly, reliably and consistently delivered.
Do I see a delivery report for each mobile phone within my campaign?
Yes you do. You can review the overall performance of a particular campaign. You can also review the delivery success of the message to each individual mobile phone.
Do I have to login each time I wish to send a message?
Yes. Because this is a necessary security consideration so that no other person abuses your account.
Do you have online help?
Yes, we do. Once in the application there are instructions and online help screens to answer your questions. However, you can always call us with any question, however small it may appear.
How does the Opt-out List work?
When you send a message out to your recipients you can invite them to text the word STOP back by return if they don’t want to receive any further messages from you. We automatically add the recipient to your account’s Opt-out List. Then if you accidentally try to send a text to them through any of our services we’ll not send the message. This helps you to conform to the latest legislation on anti-spamming.
Do you use the mobile phone numbers for marketing purposes?
No we do not. We conform to the stringent regulations of the Data Protection Act. Your user, contact details and campaign phone numbers are totally confidential to you.
